Neuropathic Pain Drug Titration and Review
For a patient that presents with neuropathic pain:
- Agree on an achievable pain relief goal
- Advise patient on the medication, titration regime
- Ensure the traffic light assessment tool (see pathway) is explained to the patient and they are asked to complete this
- Review after 6 weeks using the traffic light assessment tool
