Rapid Onset Isolated Visual Loss (No other neurological symptoms or signs)
Painless loss of vision; Stroke should be suspected if complete loss of vision - i.e. blacking out of all or part of vision field.
Painful loss of vision ; Potential differential diagnoses including:
- Uveitis
- Giant cell arteritis/temporal arteritis
- Acute glaucoma
All of these can be investigated and managed in urgent eye clinic.
