Elbow Pain
Elbow pain can occur due to a number of possible reasons, including injuries, overuse, or other conditions.
Common causes
- Tennis elbow: A common type of elbow pain caused by repetitive strain on the tendons of the forearm
- Golfer's elbow: A similar overuse injury to tennis elbow
- Bursitis: Inflammation of the fluid-filled sacs that cushion the elbow joint
- Tendinitis: Inflammation of a tendon, often caused by repetitive strain
- Bone fractures: A broken arm or other bone fracture in the elbow
- Sprains: A stretched or torn ligament in the elbow.
- Trapped nerves: A nerve in the elbow that is compressed or irritated
